  • Sojourner (Book 4) | Clean Fiction

Back to Digital Reviews Adult Christian Sci-Fi Novelette Sojourner (Book 4) Michael J. Findley https://findleyfamilyvideopublications.com/ Availability: Amazon Format: ebook, audiobook Clean Fiction Edition: Spring 2022 Reviewer: ALM Reviewer Website: https://amylynnmcconahy.com Blurb: Stand alone short story, part of the Empire Saga -- Mark and Michelle sunk everything they had, everything friends and family could invest, in the giant Sojourner gas-collection balloon ship. Now it was a simple matter of surviving to suction a full load of Methane from Titan. Massive gas storms, a tiny life pod that might not keep them from freezing, and the looming shadow of government seizure of ship and cargo "for the greater good" might interfere with their sleep even more than the insane work schedule. Review: I only read the book 4 portion of this universe, but if the other books are anything like it, you will enjoy the read. The main characters are a married couple in their 40’s trying to survive in desperate circumstances. This was a taste of a technologically advanced future where Christianity is looked upon with disdain and hostility. The characters in this story stay faithful to the Lord despite these difficulties. • Wishing Against the House (Book 4) | Clean Fiction

Back to Digital Reviews Adult Urban Fantasy Wishing Against the House (Book 4) Janeen Ippolito https://janeenippolito.com Availability: Amazon Format: ebook, paperback, audiobook Clean Fiction Edition: Spring 2022 Reviewer: ALM Reviewer Website: https://amylynnmcconahy.com Blurb: My city is under attack by shadowfiends. Apparently, this is my fault, thanks to the family I’ve never met. At least the attack interrupted my first couples therapy session with Cendric. Small blessings, right? Then my long-lost dad—yeah, the one that’s supposed to be dead—shows up to tell me that the shadowfiends are controlled by Raith, an old family member who’s here to recharge his magical batteries by any means necessary, including destroying Pittsburgh and me. Oh, and centuries ago, Raith picked a fight with the local dragons, so they’re after me as well. Now I have to learn my family’s magic, stop Raith’s path of destruction, and make nice with the dragons. Speaking of which, did I mention my oh-so-quiet secretary has eloped with one of the dragons’ worst enemies? Personally, all I want for Christmas is to survive until New Year’s. And maybe, a vacation. Review: Having already read the other two books in this series, I of course had to see what Ippolito had in store for her characters in this one. I was looking forward to a generous helping of snark and a heavy sprinkling of multiverse mayhem, and let me tell you, she delivered! ACTION: As has been true in her previous books in this series, this book as well is a chain of one piece of action to another. There are small moments of breather between each tense scene, but for the most part this book speeds into action along with the temperament of its main character. Solve the problem. Think about the consequences later. Note: There is mild use of language in this book in keeping with the style of character that the author has created. ADVENTURE: If you thought that Ippolito’s world was big before, you will not be surprised to know that she has expanded it even further. I am amazed at how easily outlandish pieces of the multiverse fit right in to the somewhat cozy feel she has given the central friend group. I will chalk it up to the writer’s skill, and simply tell you to be open-minded to unexpected twists and turns. ROMANCE: This book has a SPICY streak. Where previous books used humor to deflect things from getting too steamy, this book gives the main couple the room to express their love. (Grandma, cover your eyes for a minute...) There is one scene in particular that was a bit “eyebrows disappearing into the hairline”, but nothing is explicit except that they had...shhhh! don’t say it out loud! (Grandma? You can look again.) This book does not shy away from blatantly stating that married people copulate AND they enjoy it. (Did you just faint? *fans reader franticly* Wake up! This should not be news to anyone!) If this is a surprise to you, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If it is not, I as a married woman enjoyed a more realistic (at least within the confines of a world where genies and shifters exist) view of a married couple that doesn’t act like they have never held hands...even in private. That being said, you have been warned. RELIGION: As I conjectured in my first review of this series, God becomes a more important portion of the story as it progresses. I can attest that the author is a strong Christian woman, and I was so pleased that her character had finally made it to the point where God could be a more active part of her life. FINAL THOUGHTS: None of the things that one might find as negatives should keep you from reading this book. The relationships are raw and flawed. The world is full of complex wonder. The emotions are beautifully broken. Not to say that Ippolito does not use her endless wit to make you laugh, but in this book things get real. We are talking real, real, and because of this, it is her best one yet. B - This is the highest rating included in the magazine. It may include magic/marital relationships/abuse/unwanted physical attention/mild language/more graphic fight sequences/non-Christian religions. Did you enjoy this review? • Of Beast and Beauty (Book 1) | Clean Fiction

Back to Digital Reviews Adult Fairy Tale Retelling Of Beast and Beauty (Book 1) Chanda Hahn https://chandahahn.com Availability: Amazon, Barnes & Noble Format: ebook, paperback, hardcover, audiobook, audio CD Clean Fiction Edition: Spring 2022 Reviewer: ALM Reviewer Website: https://amylynnmcconahy.com Blurb: Everyone dreams of marrying a prince—except for me. I am nothing more than a pawn in my adoptive mother’s diabolical plot against the seven kingdoms. I was the chosen tool, her sharpened blade that would cut the deepest into the heart of the Kingdom of Baist. But like all deadly weapons, my wedding is a two-edged sword that could cost me my soul. For I am Rosalie, one of the adopted daughters of Lady Eville, and it is my duty to enter into a loveless and hate-filled marriage with the narcissistic Crown Prince of Baist. My choices and heart are not my own to give. Yet even in the thick of dire situations, beastly vengeance can give way to beautiful attraction. Review: When I first read this blurb, I thought that this book was going to be a “villain” book. “Villain” books are not my favorite biscotti, but I decided to try it out anyway with the thought that I would quit reading when evil was being glorified. Needless to say, I finished the book and I am now happy to share it with you. ACTION: When it comes to the tension in the story, there are a lot of things going on at the same time. Some might find it a bit confusing, but I believe that is the feeling that the author was trying to give. There is not much in the way of actual action scenes, but there are definitely a lot of dangerous things going on. There are also several deaths involved with the story and the way that they are presented might be disturbing to some. ADVENTURE: The use of magic gives this book its feeling of adventure. There is some traveling that goes on, but the moments of wonder are found both in the use of magic and the interactions between the main character and her magical sisters. You will also find a nice helping of mystery to keep you reading. I was pleased that I did not directly guess the ending before getting very close to the end. ROMANCE: From the title I thought that this book would primarily focus on romance, but in actuality the romantic moments were few and far between. I would say that romance was not the main focus of the story, but instead featured the difficulties and mysteries presented to the characters. I will warn that the romance that does happen is a little spicy, but only occurs within the bounds of marriage. It is not too descriptive and has a “fade to black” moment. RELIGION: There is not much mention of religion past the opening wedding scene. FINAL THOUGHTS: In this book you will find a main character with unknown loyalties, mysteries that are so twisted up that guessing them is difficult, and a romantic duo that do not fit into the normal mold. I loved Hahn’s take on the traditional story. She took a plot that has been done and over done, and takes it to a new level of interest and intrigue. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a “Beauty and Beast” tale that this one is the one that you should start with. G - This does not mean for general audiences, includes action, adventure, intrigue, and suspense. More violence is allowed, as well as mild language and mature themes. Did you enjoy this review? • Winter Cursed (Book 1) | Clean Fiction

Back to Digital Reviews Adult Dark Fairy Tale Fantasy Winter Cursed (Book 1) Nicki Chapelway https://nickichapelwayauthor.blogspot.com Availability: Amazon Format: ebook, paperback Clean Fiction Edition: Spring 2022 Reviewer: SN Reviewer Website: https://www.instagram.com/marieanais42/ Blurb: A dark prince and a princess of snow. Divided by war. Bound by a kiss of true love. Elisabeth is the heir to a kingdom trapped in an eternal winter, however, her stepmother Ismena rules as regent until she can come of age. When Ismena comes to kill her, she is forced to flee into an enchanted forest—only to discover that she has entered the realm of an exiled dark prince and his band of mercenary dwarfs. Cedric of Mooraven is the son of Elisabeth’s enemy, but he might just be her only hope of defeating her stepmother. The only thing he asks for in return is that Elisabeth lift his exile and allow him to return to the rest of the world. Elisabeth doesn’t want to trust him, but neither can she trust herself or her magical powers over ice and snow. An ability that she must keep under tight control for fear of making the winter worse. With Ismena bent on killing her and the dark prince bargaining for his freedom, the fate of a kingdom rests on Elisabeth’s choice. Ismena, Cedric, or herself… who should she protect her people from? Mirror, mirror…All will fall, Till I’m the fairest…Of them all. Review: Normally, Snow White retellings aren’t really my thing. I love how Snow White is a kind, more-girlish heroine with an innocent sort of air, but I often prefer stories with a bit more action. This retelling definitely decided to take Snow White into a darker place without getting too gritty. However, there are still all the elements of the classic story: magic, revenge, politics, true love, and seven dwarves with personalities all their own. What’s not to love? My favorite part of this book, though, was hands-down Elisabeth and Cedric. Their enemies-to-lovers dynamic is full of banter and hidden care for each other, and it was almost enough to make me wish it didn’t have to end (almost – I still wanted to see justice prevail). Their relationship definitely carried the middle part of the book as they waited to confront Ismena, which I was more than happy with. I only wish we got more time with the dwarves, as their personalities were very distinct. ACTION: This book spends a fair chunk of time preparing for action, but it keeps it pretty light. The beginning and the ending both had just enough fighting to keep you on the edge of your seat, but what this book really focuses on is suspense. After Elisabeth flees into the forest, there’s a big chunk of hurry-up-and-wait while she tries to convince Cedric and the dwarves to fight for her. This section does sort of stall, but the ending makes up for it. And although here were light descriptions of violence and injury, nothing was dark enough to warrant a higher rating. ADVENTURE: One of the best parts about this book was the backstory of Ismena and Elisabeth’s father. We only really get to hear about this side of the story a few times, namely in the beginning, but it’s clear there’s a twisty, political backstory that is dying to be made into a prequel. It even bleeds into the dynamic between Elisabeth and Cedric, and I definitely need to find out more about the kingdom of Mooraven. I also enjoyed exploring the forest with the giant wolves and deadly spiders, and I wish Elisabeth had run off earlier so we could have experienced more. ROMANCE: This book is very, very light on the romance, but Elisabeth and Cedric are so fun with each other that it doesn’t matter that there aren’t any obvious sparks at first. The banter alone is enough for a re-read, and I love how Cedric is so snarky but still so caring. Elisabeth takes a lot longer to come around, as she argues against almost everything Cedric says, but even her heart is touched by his witty humor and compassion. I only wish they had spent more time together to really develop the relationship, as everything sort of sped up at the end, but c’est la vie. RELIGION: I don’t recall any religious undertones to this book other than universally accepted moral rules (do not kill, do not lie, etc.). There were mentions of fairy tale creatures, like nymphs, who had magic, but there was no mention of a Creator or organized religion. FINAL THOUGHTS: This book is a great retelling of Snow White that delivers tension and magic that’s not seen in the original story. The prince and princess are old enemies, the dwarves wield swords, and the evil queen has a solid reason for resenting Snow White. Beauty is definitely a part of this story, but there was a lot more focus on the relationships between the characters and the history of the kingdom/the queen’s takeover, which fits in with the theme of modern retellings. If you want a quick read that delivers on magic, fun, and adventure, give this book a try. P - May include more action, magic, romance, and "short-lived" violence, Can employ more suspense. • Kiera | Clean Fiction

Back to Digital Reviews Adult Christian Romance Kiera Kate Willis (Hoppman) https://onceuponanordinary.wordpress.com Availability: Amazon Format: ebook, paperback Clean Fiction Edition: Spring 2022 Reviewer: KB Reviewer Website: https://kellyfbarr.com Blurb: Kiera is looking forward to her eighteenth birthday. The official end of school, a party with her best friend, and chocolate cake. A sudden military draft, no possible exemptions, had never crossed her mind. Kiera is terrified! Getting drafted would mean leaving her family, her little friend Jade—life as she knows it. A surprising offer from Brennan Stewart just might be the answer to her prayers, but an even worse trial leaves her with one question…If God truly loves her, why did this tragedy happen? Review: “Kiera” by Kate Willis was on a list of clean fiction stories that were on sale for Black Friday in November 2021, and it caught my attention because it is about a young woman who is facing the likelihood of being drafted into the military. There doesn’t seem to be any exemptions, and Kiera is terrified of having to leave the home, family, and friends she loves to go to war. Kate Willis did a wonderful job creating the characters in this novel. Kiera and Brennan are the main characters and it was so easy to get emotionally attached to them and to care about them. Willis clearly shows she has the ability to understand and develop her characters in a way that touches the reader’s heart. ACTION: There isn’t any heart-pounding action in this novel. The action is quite calm with the exception of some of Kiera’s reactions to struggles she faces, but even these reactions are mild. ADVENTURE: The adventure in “Kiera” doesn’t really require much in the way of travel, although there is one scene where she and Brennan travel to visit someone they both care about who is in a troubling situation, and this adventure is filled with emotional tensions and a slight level of danger. ROMANCE: I wouldn’t say there is much of a romance in this novel, but there is definitely a love relationship that is clean and the characters take a long time to realize there actually is love between them. It’s definitely a pure love that is not based on anything that the world considers love to be. RELIGION: This story has strong Biblical threads and a couple quotes from C.S. Lewis that align with the Bible running throughout the novel. Kiera is a young Christian girl and she and her family are very involved in their local church. In my opinion, this adds to the depth of the characters and the story, and it’s what adds to the story’s touch upon the reader’s heart. FINAL THOUGHTS: The time period of this story is difficult to determine. A war is mentioned, and the characters check the weather report daily to find out the level of radiation before going outside, but it’s never clear what type of war and whether it is a present war. I think, by the time I finished reading, I was convinced the story is set in the not-too-distant future. Also, at the bottom of page 279, the words “The End” appear, but there is one page after that, where there is a very brief scene involving a minor character. It seems to hint at the possibility of an upcoming book, but an upcoming book is never clearly mentioned, and there is no mention of “Kiera” being part of a series. I recommend this book to anyone who prefers character driven stories because this book is definitely character driven, and it’s the characters that grip the reader’s heart from start to finish. N - May include magic and romantic themes, Does not include violence, strong language, and non-Christian religions. Did you enjoy this review? Purchase Your Copy of the Spring Edition 2022! Help me find joy in serving others. Lord, help me be much more like you. It’s easy to get upset when things don’t go my way. I may then need to scream and shout when I don’t have my say. But I am called to separate myself from childish ways. Still, sometimes when I’m made to wait, I may make someone pay. Help me to love my brothers and sisters. Help me see things the way that they do. Help me find joy in serving others. Lord, help me be much more like you. It’s easy to point out blame when I don’t think I’m wrong. Then I can fuss and use their ways to sing of in a song. Then when I’m done I look around at faces standing near. That’s when I start to realize I’ve bended someone’s ear. Help me to love my brothers and sisters. Help me see things the way that they do. Help me find joy in serving others. Lord, help me be much more like you. It’s easy to criticize the message that is taught. I soon start thinking that I’m wise when others know I’m not. I know it may sound terrible to leave my mind to roam. It could and may be possible I left my mind at home. Help me to love my brothers and sisters. Help me see things the way that they do. Help me find joy in serving others. Lord, help me be much more like you. My Little Pharisee Seems that everyday I struggle with a little voice inside me. Sounds like someone standing on my shoulder, whisper in my ear. And he turns my mind away from kindness, starts my lower nature. Though he can’t be seen I still can hear him talking loud and clear. My little Pharisee keeps track of my every good deed. Tries to make me feel superior when others are in need. Wants to fill me with self righteousness, grown from the smallest seed. When I least expect I hear his voice… my little Pharisee. Oh, I wish I did not have to hear that little voice inside me, When he tells me I’m not quite as bad as all those other men. Yes, he’s very glad when someone sees me drop coins in the offering, And he’s sure to see if someone disobeys commandments ten. My little Pharisee keeps track of my every good deed. Tries to make me feel superior when others are in need. Wants to fill me with self righteousness, grown from the smallest seed. When I least expect I hear his voice… my little Pharisee. Sometimes I roughly knock him off his place upon my shoulder. But he’ll wait to make his grand appearance when I drop my guard. Maybe when I’m asked to do a job that doesn’t look important, Or when someone fails to thank me when I have worked very hard. My little Pharisee keeps track of my every good deed. Tries to make me feel superior when others are in need. Wants to fill me with self righteousness, grown from the smallest seed. When I least expect I hear his voice… my little Pharisee. Oh, he’s quick to point out other folks, when words and deeds don’t line up. But he doesn’t seem to mind it when my line looks just the same. He imagines getting an award because this song is clever. And he’ll swell to almost twice the size if they call out my name. My little Pharisee keeps track of my every good deed. Tries to make me feel superior when others are in need. Wants to fill me with self righteousness, grown from the smallest seed. When I least expect I hear his voice… my little Pharisee. How I Praise the Lord I can praise the Lord with my mouth. I can praise the Lord with my heart. The way I show my love and give thanks Is how I praise the Lord. Praising God is easy to do. I should praise the whole day through. There is so much to be thankful for. And every day He blesses me more. I can praise the Lord with my hands. I can praise the Lord with my feet. The way I show my love and give thanks Is how I praise the Lord. All I have and all that I am, Is all from God, sent by His hand. His work in me is not over yet. The peace He gave me I’ll not forget. I can praise the Lord with my ears. I can praise the Lord with my eyes. The way I show my love and give thanks Is how I praise the Lord. So praise Him in a song or a prayer. He hears your praise from anywhere. Your words, whether a lot or a few, Are what He wants to hear from you. I can praise the Lord with my mouth. I can praise the Lord with my heart. The way I show my love and give thanks Is how I praise the Lord. Is That Where? Is that where you’re leading me Lord? I’m searching for a clue in your word. I’ll do what you want me to do. My whole life I give to you. It happens from time to time. I get this feeling inside. I first felt it deep in my heart when Jesus became a part. A yearning beginning to swell, like fresh water drawn from a well. Impatient to work for the Lord… Eager to move forward. Is that where you’re leading me Lord? I’m searching for a clue in your word. I’ll do what you want me to do. My whole life I give to you. Every now and again God has me look at where I have been. His work is easily found when I didn’t feel Him around. Strange though it may seem, the Lord makes most use of me When I’m at an all-time low… tired and weak and slow. Is that where you’re leading me Lord? I’m searching for a clue in your word. I’ll do what you want me to do. My whole life I give to you. Didymus Once lived a man who had to have evidence. Once lived a man who believed in what he could see. If there was any doubt, he refused to believe. Didymus said that what’s real can be verified. All that’s real is smelled, felt, heard, tasted, or seen. If any doubt remained, he refused to believe. Didymus would stand his ground if the proper proof wasn’t found. He would come to the conclusion that it just could not be… “Until I see, I’ll not believe.” ‘til I feel and I see, I’ll not believe. Friends tried to tell him that Jesus was now alive. Didymus heard that they’d seen Him with their own eyes. He didn’t see for himself. He refused to believe. Friends told him they’d seen the nail prints in His hands. Didymus heard that they’d seen the wound in His side. He didn’t touch for himself. He refused to believe. Didymus would stand his ground if the proper proof wasn’t found. He would come to the conclusion that it just could not be… “Until I see, I’ll not believe.” ‘til I feel and I see, I’ll not believe. Then with his friends, all closed up inside a room. There all together they saw that Jesus was there. Jesus said, “Peace be with you.” Didymus could believe. Jesus said, “Don’t be unbelieving anymore. Come here and put your hand on my hands and my side.” Didymus said, “My Lord and my God.” He truly believed. Maybe proof can’t be found. Maybe He can’t be seen around. It is faith that makes you know Him. You don’t have to see. Blessed are they who do not see… “Blessed are they who do not see and yet believe.” Now I Can See The neighbors saw the beggar man and knew that he was blind. The man they saw had eyes that worked like every other kind. “Is this the same man? He can see! It can’t be him,” they said. “Yes it is me. I am the same.” is what the beggar said. They knew that he was born that way and he was not to blame. Though he was just a beggar man he now was not the same. “Where is this man who healed your eyes?” is what the others said. Our friend stood straight up, looked around and this is what he said. “Now I can see. Now I can see. All that I know is once I was blind but now I can see. Between you and me, this Teacher must be Sent from above to take my heart and from sin be set free.” They took him to some men that kept and studied holy law. They just did not believe that he had eyes that never saw. “A man named Jesus put some mud upon my eyes, and said, ‘Go to the pool and wash your eyes.’” And that is what I did. “Now I can see. Now I can see. All that I know is once I was blind but now I can see. Between you and me, this Teacher must be Sent from above to take my heart and from sin be set free.” The men demanded that he tell, “Who is this Jesus man?” “A prophet is what Jesus is, it seems from where I stand.” A second time they called me back. “Tell us the truth!” they said. “I told you once. Did you not hear?” is what the beggar said. “Now I can see. Now I can see. All that I know is once I was blind but now I can see. Between you and me, this Teacher must be Sent from above to take my heart and from sin be set free.” When Jesus Spoke Your words can heal the sick, can make temptation flee. Deaf ears can hear once more, a halting tongue can speak. The powers great and small must do just as you say. All evil powers yield. The wind and waves obey. When Jesus Spoke, The lame man’s legs were healed, his sins forgiven. When Jesus Spoke, a meal from one young lad fed 5,000 men. When Jesus Spoke He called each burdened soul to come unto Him. Your word has changed the world. Your word can change my heart. So Jesus, my Lord, speak to me. Your word can quench a thirst, can fill a hungry need. The broken body healed, the blinded eyes can see. You called a man by name to cause the dead to rise. The power of your truth can make the foolish wise. The powers great and small must do just as you say. All evil powers yield, the wind and waves obey.

La, La La La La. God made it that way. I sit down on the dock when no one else is there. I close my eyes and deeply breathe the morning air. I settle in my seat. I skim the water with my feet. I marvel at the day the Lord has made. La, La La La La. What a wonderful day. La, La La La La. God made it that way. I'm walking through the woods, a wind begins to blow. I turn my collar up as it begins to snow. Some geese fly over me. A rabbit hops behind a tree. I marvel at the creatures God has made. La, La La La La. What a wonderful day. La, La La La La. God made it that way. I see no randomness, instead a great design. All is made to a plan that had us all in mind. The evidence is all around, up in the sky, down to the ground. I marvel at each soul that He has made. La, La La La La. What a wonderful day. A Simple Man I am just a simple man. I have my simple faith. I try to do the things that I should by following God's way. When someone needs a hand. I know how they must feel. Each thoughtfulness is contagious, and not such a big deal. What has been done for me I'd like to do for you. When thoughtfulness is usefulness one lift turns into two. Sometimes a servant's work is unwelcome and spurned Some thoughtfulness is dangerous, it may not be returned. I take to God my praise for small acts of relief. God's thoughtfulness is fabulous. His help beyond belief. With Jesus as my guide, each day my ship He sails. His thoughtfulness is marvelous. With Him I cannot fail. I hope that God is praised when I do something kind. My thoughtfulness is His goodness reflected in my mind. Forlorn/Reborn Please show me a family. A one that has a way for me. I need a hand to help me through today. Life is hard, I'm sure you know. You just don't know which way to go. A leader is what we need, they say...I'm forlorn. But worldly woes, no need to fret. There is an answer, yes I'll bet. Someone, something to shine upon a peak. It must be here. Where is it at? In front of me, I'm sure of that, A blessing for the poor and small and weak...I'm forlorn. Sure enough, I knew I'd find, as big as brightness. Was I blind? An answer in the form of love and more. It's free for you, It's free for me. No entry fee for a family that Jesus leads down the way forevermore...I'm reborn "Seek you'll find," I've found the light that put an end to my lonely plight, adding fullness and a freedom never matched. I'll give my life, my love to Him Nothing New That which has been before is that which will be. and what has been done is what will be done again. All that God can do, I cannot add to. There is nothing new. Not under the sun. Nothing new. I considered the work of my hands, what I had made. I set my mind to understand wisdom and folly. All that God can do, I cannot add to. There is nothing new. Not under the sun. Nothing new. He has an appointed time, a time for everything. But we are not to see what will come to be. All that God can do, I cannot add to. There is nothing new. Not under the sun. Nothing new. I'm busy at my work and it makes my heart glad. But I can't call the rain or grow the seed. All that God can do, I cannot add to. There is nothing new. Not under the sun. Nothing new. The judgment of the Lord is coming one day. So fear God and obey all His commands. All that God can do, I cannot add to. There is nothing new. Not under the sun. Nothing new. Ecclesiastes 1:9, 17; 2:11; 3:1, 14, 22; 5:20; 11:6; 12:13, 14 A Brother’s Lament Help me to love my brothers and sisters. Help me see things the way that they do. Help me find joy in serving others. Lord, help me be much more like you. Come With Me Come with me. Come with me, as we travel stormy seas. When we sail into the harbor I want you to be with me. As I travel on this journey I see many who despair. Help awaits them for the asking if they call the God who's there. I'm not trying to insult you. I'm not wanting you to flee. I don't even mean to push you, but I want you to come with me. Come with me. Come with me, as we travel stormy seas. When we sail into the harbor I want you to be with me. A believer's heart is humble. Though I am not always right, my great wish is to obey Him and be pleasing in God's sight. It may seem that I'm demanding when I say "God's word is true." Trust His word and you will find Him and I'll spend all time with you. Come with me. Come with me, as we travel stormy seas. When we sail into the harbor I want you to be with me. Many days we search for meaning...ask ourselves why we are here. We are made to love and praise Him. God does care and lends an ear. The Lord Jesus is now waiting. He wants you to come to Him. Are you answering His calling? Hear His voice and let Him in. Follow me. Follow me...He who made and calmed the sea. Please come to my holy city, I want you to be with me.
