Hello All! We are happy to announce a change in staffing! Our very own D.T. Powell is moving from being our Fairy Tale Reviewer to our Junior Fiction Reviewer. Considering that she is a seriously gifted reader and author, we are expecting our Junior Fiction Section to continue to grow rapidly under her leadership. That being said, if you have a middle-grade story or chapter book meant for children, make sure you submit it to our TBR Pile via our website. Submissions are open 24/7, so don't be shy! Even if your book is not reviewed in the Winter Edition 2025, your book's title, author name, website, and genre will appear as one of our "From the TBR Pile" listings. This has always been and will continue to be completely FREE, so there is no risk involved. Read on below to learn more about D.T. Powell, Junior Fiction Reviewer.

D. T. Powell grew up in a Christian home, loving books and reading. Her daily habits included devouring dozens of pages, picking which book to read next, scouring the local library shelves, and archiving and listening to sacred music. When she was nine, God sent a fictional character into her life who changed the way she looked at the world—and herself. From then on, she wanted to show everyone what God had done for her, so she pursued an art degree… and was summarily kicked out of the program due to general lack of artistic talent. Only after she graduated with a degree in business did she pick up the one utensil she had never thought to use, a pen. And she hasn’t put it down since. To fill her writing day, she works on original stories, extensive fanfiction endeavors, editing friends’ work, and learning more about the craft of writing. Her hobbies include hanging out with her husband and their three kitties, reading, playing pickelball, listening to music, and imagining scenes to use in future books. She loves Psalm 126:5, “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

QUARTERLY COVER ART CONTEST: We are now accepting FREE submissions for our next Cover Art Contest (Winter Edition 2025) through October 25. Voting will begin October 27 and run for 2 weeks (Voting is also FREE). The winner will be announced November 13 in our Newsletter.

Can a cover DESIGNER participate? Of course. Can an author participate even if they did not design their cover? Yep. Is there a limit on the number of covers that I submit? Please, only send one cover per author/design company. Can you submit a cover that has participated in a previous Cover Art Contest? We ask that you only submit a cover once to one of our contests. What about AI art? As long as a human had a hand in creating part of the cover, it is fine to submit it. Does it matter what genre the book is? No, but keep it clean!

This very popular contest currently has no sponsors. If you would like to be a sponsor for the low price of $25, follow the link below.
