Happy Launch Day!

Hello All! Wow, the last month and a half has been a wild ride. As you know, I was surprised with several unexpected projects that were connected with the beginning of school, including writing two new curricula from scratch for 5th Grade and 6-8th Grade. So essentially, what should have taken me a month of time working around my 3 other jobs at a measured pace ended up being a one-week hyper-focused dash to the finish. I am proud to say that it is finished AND ended up being 204 pages. 10 pages longer than in the Summer. You will be pleased to know that this edition is just CHALKED full of seasonal short stories, ministry articles, devotions, articles that cover book awards and authorcraft, and of course 98 REVIEWS (I know that 100 would have sounded more impressive, but that is the real number). The only thing I was unable to fit into my timetable was the poetry section. Even though I have quite a pile of great poems that deserve to be shared, I frankly just ran out of time. So expect the next edition to include a full Poetry Section! The paperback price did go up 50 cents due to cresting 200 pages, but I am of the firm opinion that it is worth it. For updates on how the launch is going, visit our Instagram or Facebook pages.
We also have a new Devotional Author, Reviewer, and Serial Author to announce (as if the last week wasn't busy enough, we added to our staff!)

I’m J M Archer, but you can call me Josie. The most important thing to know about me is that I’m a Christian. The Bible is a roadmap I try to follow as best as I can. That being said, I still mess up a lot… boarding on constantly. Thank God for grace!
Christianity always shows up in my books, but not in a preachy way. Themes of forgiveness, finding and keeping faith, accepting who God made us to be, and finding our worth in him are common threads in my work. Why? Because that’s what the books always turn to. I’ll admit, I don’t always plan ahead of time. I believe these are themes the Lord has put close to my heart. They are also things I’ve struggled with in my own life, so it only makes sense to write about them!
I was born and raised in the southern United States. I went spelunking, learned mountain climbing, and was taught self-defense when I was a toddler. Survival skills, including tracking, have always been a part of my upbringing.
A few more things…
I’m a homeschool graduate.
The mountains draw me like gold attracts a dragon, and I would happily live in a secluded cabin in the woods where I could hike and write books all day.
I’m an artist who loves graphite sketching, acrylic paints, digital art, and graphic design.
I dabble in archery and knife-throwing. But don’t rely on me for protection. We’ll both perish.
I’m the caretaker of two fur dragons and an elderly griffin (cats and a twelve-year-old chicken).
So, that’s me in a nutshell!
