Hello All! We are looking for businesses/authors who are willing to sponsor our quarterly Cover Art Contest, and you are running out of time! If you want to receive the most "bang for your buck", lock in your sponsorship today. This allows your information to be included in ALL the social media posts and newsletters. It's our best deal at only $25. But do you know what isn't $25? Submitting your book cover to our contest! Submissions begin July 14th and end July 26th, and are completely FREE. We already have several covers submitted, but we are looking for more to feature! Please do not submit a cover that has already participated in one of our contests, but feel free to submit a cover that has already been out in the world. It doesn't matter if your book was published yesterday or 5 years ago, we would love to have your cover participate. Voting begins July 28th.

WINDOWS WRITING CONTEST: We will continue to accept micro-stories up through July 31st. The prompt image can be found on the "Contests" page of our website and features a young woman at sunset in the forest. I never know what authors are going to do with the image I choose, but I can tell you honestly that I have been blown away more times than I can count. Do you want to participate? Here are some shortened instructions: You are asked to write a 1,000-1,500-word micro-story beginning with "Through the window, I saw..." and submit it within the 31-day submission window on the "Submit Your Micro-story" form found on our website. Submissions are free, and if your story is chosen for print, you will receive a gift card, a 3D printed medallion (in the continental US), and an author feature worth up to $40. Winners will be announced on August 7th. This contest is judged by a select few of our reviewers and is sponsored by the Strangers & Aliens Podcast (strangersandaliens.com).

REALMMAKERS EXPO: All of the bookish merchandise has been completed (for real this time...you know how it is with all those last-minute details). My husband is celebrating his newfound freedom (tee hee). I have spent the last week attaching notions, jump rings, and tassels. As well as bagging, tagging, making signage, and inventorying in our sales system. I want to be as prepared as possible. I have done craft fairs and such for years, I even ran one with my cousin for almost a decade, but this will be my first time exhibiting at an expo. I've done my homework, and I am hoping that the final display will be fun and attractive. The nervous excitement has already begun to set in as I embark on a trip that will allow me to meet so many people that I have only known online up until this point. I hope that I don't disappoint ; D If you would like to follow my journey, I will be writing an Expo Journal that will be available to Yearly Subscribers on our website and to Patreon Supporters. I'm sure I will also be posting quite a bit on my socials as well, so even if you aren't in one of these categories, you will be hearing from me.
