What Monty Python’s Flying Circus might have done with Agatha Christie’s lost manuscript...Invisible burglars who take nothing, but frighten the cat at meal times? This is hardly a case worthy of newly-promoted Chief Inspector Morgan. But when valuable jewels go missing and an attempt is made on Blandthorpe Fargenstropple’s life, Morgan jumps into action with keen interest. With a quirky cast of characters, witty banter, a little romance, and plenty of ridiculous mishaps, this cozy mystery will challenge your ability to read in any sort of dignified manner--so grab a tray of tea and crumpets and plan to laugh out loud.
Review:
I fully enjoyed this Comedy Novella. The beginning was a bit confusing. The reader is dropped into an unusual world of myth and mystery without much background information. Though after the start, I giggled along with London’s slapstick humor and light touch. This reminded me of the antics of both Inspector Hercule Poirot (Agatha Christie Mystery) and Jacques Clouseau (The Pink Panther). A generous helping of ridiculousness gave it a Monty Python type air that allows the reader to accept some rather silly happenings. If you are looking for a mystery with a generous helping of levity, this is the book for you.

P - May include more action, magic, romance, and "short-lived" violence, Can employ more suspense.
